LAKE CHARLES — The Lake Charles Police Department has arrested a man accused of pouring bleach into a water bottle and giving it to a person whom he was the caretaker of.
According to police, on Monday evening, 30-year-old Reginald Wilson poured bleach into a water bottle and gave it to Marshal Huntsberry, a 48-year-old who is physically and mentally handicapped. Family members said he was hit in a hit-and-run crash years earlier and has not been able to walk since.
Police said the caretaker gave Huntsberry the water bottle and after drinking it, he could taste the chemical. He called a relative, and they confronted Wilson, who admitted to pouring bleach into the water bottle.
Heaven on Earth Home Health Agency was contacted and Wilson was forced to leave the property before police arrived.
Wilson was later found and arrested on aggravated battery, cruelty to the infirm and mingling of harmful substances. He was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center.

Most caregivers are angels in human form but you have to be on top of things to make sure you don't get a bad apple. Having gone through it with both parents it's something I worried about. We were fortunate.

Probably should consider a more appropriate name for the business, maybe Devil in Disguise.

Nightmare for the home care agency. You’re dealing with employees who have zero skills other than cleaning and assisting people to the bathroom. Some of these are good people who help their clients but in many cases, these are people who would only have fast food jobs as an option and don’t give a damn. That’s a tough business.

Using whom but still ending the sentence with a preposition is certainly a choice. What does it even take to become a "journalist" these days?
