Looking for a tailgate host!

My son really wants to experience an LSU tailgate, he is a college student at Tarleton State University. We are from Texas BUT are doing an NFL stadium tour and will be going to watch the Saints on Nov 15th. It just so happens the Tigers are playing Texas (neither of us are UT fans) at home the day before.
I have never been tailgating in my life and neither has he. Would be a fun experience for the both of us. Sounds like the LSU fans do tailgating properly and would be honored if someone would let the 2 of us join in. More than willing to help fund food and drink costs!
I posted this in another group here, received a response but person hasn't responded to subsequent emails and the thread was locked.

Seriously, just park and walk around. LSU fans are extremely nice and will adopt you quickly.
Avoid the north side of campus where all the weed smoking and fights have been happening lately.

Exactly, just walk up and tell your story, if not adopted by the first tailgate you walk up on - it won't take long, keep trying.

Tarleton is one of the biggest shite kicker schools in the country, definitely Texas. There is no question OPs son will be there in some clean 13MWZs, a black felt, some punchy toed boots and a Carhartt vest. And he will be the best mannered kid at the tailgate no question I would set the O/U of "Yes Ma'ams" at 145.5

We tailgate across the street from the journalism building next to Lockett Hall (look it up on Google maps). It’s the Nak-a-trash Tailgate (play on Natchitoches, where most of the group is from). Look for the Golden Van from Tigerland. We will have a spread of food, beer & soft drinks. Feel free to stop by & tell them the really tall guy said to stop by.

After the game you should hit the bar scene on Plank Rd. It's fantastic.
I'm just kidding. Don't go to Plank Rd under any circumstances and don't park or walk around any streets named after U.S. states or Presidents.
You really should post this on the Tiger Rant the week of the game and you will get a bunch of personal invites. Bonus points if you post pics of your wife in LSU gear.
