There is no fricking way I am paying the prices they are asking for brand new cars.

EVEN the fricking USED CARS are absurd.

I now feel very fortunate that I have a car that is paid off and reliable.

How much are those electric bikes?

I work from home and almost sold the paid for 2015 Honda I’ve been driving to run errands. I’m glad I didn’t and I’m driving that sucker until the wheels fall off.

It's going to look like a little Havana in my driveway in 10 years at this point

No idea but will find out when my current vehicle dies.

That’s why I keep buying new cars

Keeps me from having a huge number for a new car because I’m trading in every 3 to 5 years.

Ive been saying im going to buy a new car for 4 years now.

I originally wanted to change out because I started to hate my 2005 Lexus es330, but now im looking forward to year 18 with the ole lady.

Its become more about saying "frick you" to the industry than the money.

You can get a decent one for about $350...

Went on cargurus a few wks ago to browse. Decided I am good with my used fleet for the foreseeable future.

Out of control.

I am legitimately scared of when my current ride craps out. To the point where I'm driving even more defensibly to avoid the ever present "I aint got no inshorance" drivers.

If you’re waiting for an es300 to die before replacing it you’ll be waiting a long time lol

I’m on the backside of my career and my income is higher than a lot of folks and I think I’ve purchased my last new car. I just can’t justify the expense.

I’m building my next car. If I’m going to pay that much for a car, it’s going to be a classic.

Its actually a 330, ( my last car was a 300 ), but you're correct. Changed out the timing belt at 120K and the valve cover gaskets at 130k. As long as I keep putting oil in it, I should be good to go.

Yes, you certainly do appear to be rather destitute old bean. Just the other day I noticed a small knick in the paint of my gardener's King Ranch, so I immediately went and purchased him the newest model. Must keep up appearances you know old chap.

In before one of the usuals shows up to say the vehicle market is about to crash. Deals will be everywhere.
Going on two years now waiting on this “crash”. LOL

I was pissed we bought 2 new rides in 2019. Looking like we walked into insane luck at the time. I'm hopeful we make it into the 2030's before we're In the market again.

No, but I have not been in the market for a new car, either.

Can you tell me the price of Sardines without looking it up?

I think what I am the most disappointed about is that I was very close to buying a new car in 2021 that was very reasonably priced. I passed and spent the money on an investment that COST me money.
