If there are four cars in line ahead of me in the left lane and you pull up behind me, don't flash your lights expecting me to figure out a way to give you my place in line.

For rational human beings it’s meant to be a reminder to move to the right lane. To idiots however, it’s seen as a challenge to see how retarded they can be, so they usually double down on their stupidity to prove a point they think they have in their little bitty teeny weeny brains.

It reminds me that obeying speed limits are optional.

It's their way of pulling your hair?

(Was behind car the other day that had bumper sticker, "If you're going to ride my arse, at least pull my hair." Also had a classy "Save the Ta-Tas" cancer pink ribbon. )

I'm a truck driver - any time I roll through BR I hop in the far left lane for funsies. All those nerds in pickups get all mad - flashing their lights like they're big and bad. What are you going to do, move a 40 ton semi?

You and every other trucker on I-12. This is why I avoid it if possible. Driving from Florida to Louisiana is for the most part smooth sailing until you hit Louisiana, and then it’s frustrating on I-12 because of knuckleheads like you.

For funsies I like to make my way in front of a-hole truck drivers like you and slam on my breaks periodically just to laugh at your whole truck jerking to stop and then taking forever to get back up to speed. Of course I don’t do it in traffic as to frick up people behind you. But start that shite on the open interstate and you’re getting brake checked baw.

Just to make sure I have this right.... You willingly brake check a 40 ton semi which literally can’t stop on a dime. Does it never cross your mind that if they can’t slow down enough in time your car/truck is like a tin can versus them?

This thread always brings out the radicals on both sides

In Lousisiana highest interstate speed to my knowledge is 65.

If I am doing 80-85 passing cars the guy behind me flipping out, spazzing, trying to cause a pile up can eat a D.

I will get over when convienent, safe, and practical. I am not going to accommodate your anxiety and wreckless driving.

i flash left lane bandits who have nobody keeping them from the right lane- i do try to avoid passing on the right. If it's a semi i will pull into the right lane and flash them and let them know its clear and nobody will pass them on the right as they merge back, which i know can be a worry for them.

if i am in the left lane and actively passing cars in the right lane i have no obligation to move over for a faster car in the left lane. its all pretty simple.

This is 100% ok and it’s the only time I have zero issues being behind someone in left lane.

This is also what the OP was trying to say but he’s too busy acting like a complete a-hole to effectively communicate his point.

90% of people don't pay attention to anything when they drive (or are looking at their phones). They don't even know other people are on the road

I like to " Ole" those guys. Generally I drive a vehicle they can't see around. I'll accelerate let them catch up. Then make a quick lane change when I am less than a car length behind the car in front.

I'm never in the left without a car in front. I'm a lane usage and Blinker Nazi.
