Impatient or angry drivers never bothered me until I had kids. Now I think of them doing that to women with kids. People make mistakes and not everyone is a great driver. it's not worth risking everyone's lives in order to get to your destination 1 minute sooner.

Usually it is asking you to get over because you are going too slow in the left lane.

If I’m flashing someone it’s kind of like me giving them the benefit of the doubt. It’s like a “I know you aren’t intentionally causing a traffic jam when there are only 12 cars on a 2 mile stretch of interstate, so this flash is just a little reminder that I’m here behind you”

The only ridiculous thing in this thread is that you still don't realize how dumb you truly are. Just get in the right lane to avoid having your feelings hurt.

i flash left lane bandits who have nobody keeping them from the right lane- i do try to avoid passing on the right. If it's a semi i will pull into the right lane and flash them and let them know its clear and nobody will pass them on the right as they merge back, which i know can be a worry for them.
if i am in the left lane and actively passing cars in the right lane i have no obligation to move over for a faster car in the left lane.
its all pretty simple.

That’s how I am. I drive in the right lane but pass in the left usually 77 to 80 mph. If I have someone tailgating and they try to pass on the right I speed up just enough to close the gap so they get stuck behind the car on the right I was trying to pass.
