That hoax has been going for maybe a year now. I have got it on personal and work accounts over the last 5 months. I have probably got some variation of it 10 different times.

I like your spirit, but that would not be a wise thing to do. It just validates you are monitoring the email it was sent to and that email address just became more valuable on the dark web.

I actually got this email from 2 different senders on consecutive days. The first one asked for $7000. The second only asked for $1100.
Maybe they didn't like my video. I feel sort of insulted that the price dropped.
