Yeah I think everyone that voted for that nonsense legislation is going to regret it. It will definitely come back to haunt them. LA and MS both need to do more about having superchargers added though.

I’ve bought 11 vehicles in the last 10 years. 9 of them were bought out of state. Local dealers suck.

Where do you usually go?

I’ve never bought a car in this state because every dealer here is greedy, but at the same time, this state is evidently also full of retards willing to pay whatever they ask

On one hand you're not wrong but it's also funny as hell to see people spend like 15+ hours of their life plus flying to another location just to save like 700 bucks on the purchase price.

Last purchase I made I contacted like 2 dealers and ended up buying the exact car I wanted for 8% below MSRP and better than what I expected on my trade-in. From first contact to having the vehicle in my garage was like 6 days.

By contrast my dad spent the better part of a month going back and forth with like 5 different dealers. He ended up compromising on some of the options he was considering and his purchase price was 10% off MSRP.

Strangely, in life I've found the people who are most adamant about getting the best "deal" they can get seem to put very little, if any, value on their own time.
