eh, there will be some folks pissed off. I don't think that a lot of people who have never eaten them realize that they are boiled alive. I dated a girl from Seattle who was shocked about it.

Who gives a shite? Why do these fricking retards GAF about how a stupid crawfish dies?

I think it’s fine to make the rational decision that it is ok to inflict pain and suffering on the animal kingdom for a meal . I also think it’s silly to pretend that that suffering is not occurring . Most sane people can live with the suffering of crustaceans without it being some kind of existential moral crisis . A strict Buddhist on the other hand would kick that suffering down to plant life for ethical reasons which are different than “ emotional “ reasons.

Everything. If you think for a moment they would ban the sale of live crawfish you're as retarded as the lobster pain people

Who cares we're eating them? I bet it hurts pretty bad for that split second their skulls get bashed in. Steaks and burgers sure are delicious.

So lets say some ridiculous law like this is passed. Cant boil live crawfish but you can still buy them live, "humanely kill them prior to boil" and then boil them. Are the crawfish police going to be in every back yard every day to make sure that every single crawfish is dispatched prior to going into the pot? Grow up Peter Pan. This is one of those dumb rules no one will be able to enforce.

Conversations surrounding crawfish boils in Louisiana could get heated

Only thing that’s getting heated in Louisiana is the water in our boiling pots.

You know that society is moving in the wrong direction when people are more concerned about lobster killing methodology than aborting human fetuses.

What are the odds that the same people concerned about the feelings of lobsters would shriek at the suggestion that a fetus can feel pain?

As someone who's a conflicted pro-choicer, your flawless logic has earned you an upvote from me, good sir!

Liberals are out of hand.

Of course they feel pain. You can hear their little screams as they hit the hot water.

I love that sound

why would be take advice from a pussy country like that, they bent over and took in WWII while Merica swooped in to save the day

USA USA USA....

Ummmmm, are you talking about Switzerland?

The European country with the highest economic freedom and the most guns per citizen of any country in the world other than the US? Switzerland? The Melting Pot of Europe. The country is equally split between Italian, German, English and French speaking populations. Switzerland is probably more like America than any other country in Europe. Switzerland isnt a good target for American animosity towards the European model. Switzerland is a shining example of the American model, in Europe. Of course, they still have their liberal cuckery but they're far better than most other European countries.

WWII? The Swiss? Don't you even Swiss Reduit/Redoubt, bro? The Nazis wanted no part of that shite. It's a highly impenetrable country and the entire population was highly proficient in firearm use and they still to this day have compelled military conscription.

Think the Finns and the Russians or the Afghans and the same.

I drive to Laffy to get good boudin, you can drive to Houma to get good crawfish. The fresh water boil and Tony's dust is a head shaker.
