There's almost no chance he does this. He's dug in too deep. We will be one of the last states to ease that kind of stuff. NOLA will essentially be the last city to do it. These " leaders" are in too deep to do anything else.

I have such a hard time believing this...even with mandates gone all around us, I just can't see him relinquishing freedom in anyway.
but to be honest it doesn't matter. Went to an art market with live music...0 masks in sight. Then went to a packed bar, people dancing taking shots, etc till we eventually left at 3 am.... not a mask in sight. Louisiana is already open where I am...not matter what that twat says

Glad to hear he's well ... are y'all actually allowed INSIDE to visit?? I pray so. There is a facility near me that is allowing family to take their loved ones out for the day and be brought back without restrictions when they return. SOME people have some sense!
I am allowed back in IF I'm fully vaccinated ... caveat is that ** I ** am the ONLY ONE required to be fully vaccinated. NO other contract worker, NO actual employee, NO family visitors, NO residents are MANDATED to be vaccinated.
So yes I am but I'm still working from home. I refuse to be bullied into taking it at this time. I'll catch shite here for that BUT if those who are there EVERY DAY aren't required and aren't vaccinated then why should I who is there a day or two a week be?

I would honestly be surprised if he did lift the restrictions because he was chirping that we need 60% vaccinated before we can get back to normal, then again why would he start being consistent now?
Was talking to a family member this weekend, and when you factor in that the vaccine is only approved for those 16 and over, the State is actually around 45% with at least 1 vaccine shot. They estimated a population of about 3.25M 16+, and the State, as of this weekend, had 1.46M+ with at least 1 shot.

I thought Mississippi lifted theirs. Was at the Gulfport outlets mall and it was masks and signs everywhere.

Doubt this is true, JBE literally said at this press conference the last restriction he's going to remove is the mask mandate.

I don’t see that happening. The us as a whole has a China virus rate of 3%
