(LNST)Single/divorced people. Do you cook meals for yourself?

I find it less than fulfilling to prepare a decent meal for just myself when for so long I took joy in cooking for me and my family. I'll usually just eat a sammich or heat up a jar of soup when I'm by myself.

When I have a lady friend over I'll cook. Or if I'm cooking for a big group or party.
Other than that I don't cook fancy for myself.
Maybe utilitarian stuff I can eat off of for a while, like stuffed and roasted Boston butt or a big pot of chili.

There's a recently single, early 40s brawd I know who may be looking for some rebound action.

When did you get divorced?

Yea I went through the same thing after my divorce. I still cook when the kids are with me but when not I usually just eat something easy and quick as well.

If my wife is gone for an extended period, I just eat a bowl of cereal or go get something.

I'm single and I cook a couple of meals a week. I eat out a lot.

Once or twice a week. I eat out a lot, but live close to my parents, so I'm always stealing their food. That's actually the plan for tonight
Stouffers has legit frozen dinners. I usually have to eat two at a time because they're small

Yes. I'll cook something big and eat off it 3 or 4 times during a week while freezing the rest.

I always fed 'em steak and canned biscuits in the morning.

Yes. I wouldn't survive if I didn't cook meals for myself. What kind of question is this? Eating soup and sandwiches all the time is no way to live, and it is financially irresponsible to eat out all the time.

Even drunk and tired I can't imagine I'd hate myself enough for one of those
