Bought mine when I was at LSU a little over thirty years ago. They are still going strong. Still keep my feet dry.

They're routinely sold out leading up to xmas. very popular

I love mine. I got them as a Christmas present 10 years ago and still look brand new. They are pricey but worth the money.

LL Bean duck boots are the new ed hardy shirts

I see posters saying they're hard to take off or put on. Take the laces out of the top two lace grommets and it's not a problem at all.

Nothing funnier than seeing bros break out their spotless 8" duck boots two times a year
The OT is such a confusing place sometimes

I’ve actually worn through a few pairs. I always have the 3/4 length (?) just above the ankles. I slide them on and off cause I’ve never tied them. They are an LSU campus must with as much as it rains there. Couldn’t imagine wearing a different shoe tailgating and walking around Nola during Mardi Gras.

I wore my low tops every year to Mardi Gras until I lost them in the flood.

I don't mind the Bean's, but I come from a Sorel-wearing family
My current ones get the job done, snow or mud.

I've never bought LL Bean boots. I guess i always just assumed they were for yuppies that don't put their gear under strenuous use. I usual buy Keen waterproof composite toes. Keen makes great shoes in general.

They're made in the middle of nowhere in Maine

I like my Croc Martens. Super comfy, great ankle support.

Do they make a style for men as well?

I even bought a pair for my truck.

Uhhh how am I gonna hunt ducks without owning a pair?

Bought a pair of 8" ca. 1990 at LSU that are still going strong. Bean resoled them for a reasonable charge about 5 years ago. They're on the back porch at the moment, still caked in mud from VooDoo fest.
Essential festival and football bad weather gear, though I've never been on a duck hunt (other than Nintendo).

I really liked my bean boots but I have Sorels now and I’m never going back

I ordered mine and after 8 months of waiting canceled the order.
