On what grounds?
No idea - just speculating, which is what everyone's doing at this point. But that's the first thing their attorney will look for.

I still can't get over how disturbing all of this shite is.
A policeman & teacher (two people children are taught to trust) were involved in this doing the things they are accused of doing.

I think they'll both argue that the evidence was obtained illegally and that there were chain of custody issues. I presume that Livingston Parish Sheriff and the State Police are solid on all of this. If they're not, they'll probably offer one a deal of maybe 20 years to testify against the other. Likely offer her to testify against him.
I could see that, would love to see them both get life though,

I understand that.. That doesn't make it less disturbing.

No chance. NCMEC intercepted some uploads, grabbed the IP, gave it to LBI, warrant for the house obtained, slew of evidence acquired. They could toss out 98% of what they have and those 2 will still get the max.

The good news is that Ard will be stepping down very soon. I've heard an ex deputy who recently ran for another position, and lost, is the favorite to be picked to run as his replacement. Hopefully his participation in the Ashley Madison scandal doesn't come back to haunt him
I have not heard anything of this nature and would be very shocked if Ard steps down. Curious to know where this info came from.

You won't until it happens

Chances are it won’t happen. Like I said I’d be shocked if he does

Don’t feel like reading through to see if this was posted. Just got told that in the process of digging in ole boys computer, they found some videos of wife with other teachers from the school. Not with the kids but just some adults.

I wonder if they knew they were being videoed

While interesting, it isn’t particularly relevant to the case at hand.
All it does is support the theory that they were swingers in addition to everything else they were doing.

No way Ard steps down.
Did anyone else hear him say in the press conference "I am sheriff and I will continue to be sheriff."
It will take a felony conviction to get him out.

I don't think that he steps down (on his own will at least) either.

So wait.... Jason will step down so Brandon Browning can step up as sheriff? Thats some funny shite. Brandon browning isn’t capable of running a hair dryer much less a department.
