She’ll claim coercion by him.
I’m less sure how he plans to fight this.

I would love to hear exactly how both of their lawyers plan to spin these current charges.
The only arguments will be if either is ever eligible for parole

Did they even address this at the school board meeting? I saw an article that they didn't discuss it but did they say why or did they just act like it wasn't happening?

AG's request because it involves juveniles.

How in the hell is this not national news.
Posted on 11/8/19 at 9:40 am to Commandeaux
Because it is in the Florida parishes and not the state of Florida.
A lot of fricked up news mainly gets picked up because of its proximity to large media outlets.

The school board meeting was the regular bi-monthly meeting
I’m not sure why it would need to be discussed at the meeting, it would be nothing more than gossip on public record
It deals with minors & an open investigation, their lawyers & the AG’s office asked them not to comment

Maybe the people who think their kids may have eaten semen would be interested in what the school board is doing to investigate the incident and what has been learned?

It's my understanding that the parents of each of those kids were already called in for private meetings.

The AG’s office is handling the investigation
They are working with the school board to identify students in pictures found & the AG’s office is speaking with the parents
Officially all there is is pictures of students, nothing else has been proven

Honestly, that's exactly what they should have said in the meeting. Looks a hell of a lot better than just ignoring the elephant in the room and scurrying out as soon as someone dropped the gavel.

Interested (and a little apprehensive) to find out more about Ms. Baw’s prior employment. I know she was at North Live Oak Elementary for awhile, around the same time as my kids. Makes me cringe to think they were even in the same building as her.

Perkins is a dirt bag but a dirt bag that sent out plenty of red flags (that we've seen; there are probably dozens we don't know about) and his friend/family member, Sheriff Jason Ard let him slide on all of them. He's partially to blame for this being a deputy that got arrested and not a former deputy.
The good news is that Ard will be stepping down very soon. I've heard an ex deputy who recently ran for another position, and lost, is the favorite to be picked to run as his replacement. Hopefully his participation in the Ashley Madison scandal doesn't come back to haunt him.

I think they'll both argue that the evidence was obtained illegally and that there were chain of custody issues. I presume that Livingston Parish Sheriff and the State Police are solid on all of this.
If they're not, they'll probably offer one a deal of maybe 20 years to testify against the other. Likely offer her to testify against him.
