I love it... Never feel lonely. If I did I would go hang out with somebody or go for a walk.
It's peaceful.

If I lived by myself, I would not have any furniture in my house. Except maybe a folding chair

Speaking of, where has Nurse been? I hadn’t seen her posting in awhile. Hope she’s ok.

I spent most of my life travelling with the pipelines. It actually provided a nice balance. I was always happy to go home to my family and then happy to go home to my empty room on the road.

Nah, I just searched and found that she was posting today. She’s still just as much a loser as you and I.

First year I lived alone sucked. I have two brothers so being alone wasn't a thing. Had to get used to it. But after that it's awesome.

The first time I lived alone was when I joined the military and got stationed in Washington State. A state known for the highest suicide rate in the nation, but I'm still here with a wife, dog, and kids. I think some people are built different but Being alone for me got old really fast and led to getting myself in trouble more often.

And you eventually get to where the prospect of living with someone sounds awful...

“Wait, at all times someone would know what I I am doing?”

Man this is lonely. Weird feeling not being able to walk across into the living room and chat with your roommate or sibling/parent.

You hate being happy. Seek therapy.

No it doesn't. The time you are given to be by yourself is time you need to "work" on yourself. It is a gift. Treat this time by yourself as the gift it is. As you reflect on yourself and find what you are good at and what you need to work on, you can improve yourself. Once you improve yourself, you will improve the life of other people you meet in the future.
to the future.

I love being by myself, but of course that’s a rarity with a wife, dog, and 3 kids( youngest 7y/o). It’s human nature just to want what you don’t have, and while I love to be alone in nature, When I’ve had a few days, I miss my family..... It’s weird, but wouldn’t trade them and the chaos for nothing....

When I got divorced many years ago, I rented a place and had a crappy sofa and a mattress on the floor. No cable or any entertainment. Living like a monk was good for the soul,

Mine would drag across the floor if I did that. I would have to haul it in and tie it around my leg
