I can say with 100% certainty I would've been hopping the fence and given that coach the knuckle check of his life. You don't put your hands on a kid like that.

Damn, That was the norm 40 years ago. Sure got my attention.

Our coach would smack us pretty hard but that was excessive.

The comment section on that site is filled with intelligent takes by obviously superior thinking intellectuals.

We got that and more in the late 70's early 80's, yet no one died, or cried !

Worst thing about this story is that nine year olds play tackle football with helmets and pads.

Yeah, parent gets a free kill shot in that situation.

That bullshite in that video was an unrestrained, all out clubbing of a kid by a grown person.

Not my coach. We got roughed up quite a bit. I think Albert Belle's dad busted his hand on my helmet.

I bet that coach failed his concussion protocol class.

You seriously think that is acceptable behavior from an adult towards a child?
Idgaf what side you are on, that was awful and that dude needs his arse kicked. I don't care if he was the father. Maybe in this instance he should be like the other 80% and be out of his childs life or in prison.

I went to high school with Joey and Terry. Who did you play for that their Dad coached? Just curious.

Wow! I coached youth athletics for over 15 years. Did I I ever “slap” a k8d on the helmet? Yes, but that ?!! Over the top. Any of my assistants would have tried to knock me out with a rap like that one. He should be banned from youth coaching.
Really surprised no one stepped up.

Banned from coaching? Dude should be arrested... maybe rough him up while doing it, but that's not right for police to do that anymore to worthless criminals.
