Great little dog and video, but I think it’s fake. That dog is way too friendly and playful to be a stray. The video was made to get donations for their cause. Even before his bath, the dog looked pretty clean and well fed.

It says he was abandoned not that he grew up on the streets. Someone probably had him for a while and dumped him somewhere.

I was at a gas station in the middle of nowhere at 3am once.
It was in december, was cold and horrible wet icy conditions. I was thinking how much it sucked to be out in that and as I look down and there is a black mouth cur puppy who is alone, malnourished, fleas, and is probably recently able to walk around in his own. He'd walked up to me to just be by the only living activity hed seen in a while. Was cold and weak.
100% Believe if I didnt act, he wouldn't have made it through the night. Took him home and he lived getting to chase rabbits everyday, miss that dog.

People, in general (of course not every single human) are irresponsible and stupid. It takes a lazy piece of shite to abandoned a dog. First of all, if they have the dog that means they agreed to take it in and care for it and when they realize it is more than they thought it would be.. They drop it off for others to deal with or if something happens to the dog, they don't have to think about it because they will never know.
They could at least look for someone to give it to or bring it to an adoption center or something.. But no.. They are worthless fricks,
