Billy’s is so loaded with MSG and just not that good compared to many other shops. And, the original store in Opelousas is just absolutely filthy dirty.

Sorry, Good boudin just doesn’t need to be fried with cheese!

I like boudin, but could list 50 things I like more.

That being said, my list would start with Billeaud’s, Legnon’s, and Best Stop, and Billy’s may not make my top 5.

Drives me nuts. I was at a neighbors house recently. His daughter and her high school friends were sitting around talking. They must have said that word 50 times each in 15 minutes.

I just hope there’s a feud in Krotz Springs akin to the Hatfields & McCoys between Billy’s & Kartchner’s. And we get a reality tv show out of it, Boudin Wars.

I tried Kartchners when they first opened in Scott. I’d rate them as the 5th best boudin on that exit

I keep trying Kartchner’s because of all the hype, but I find a lot of there stuff has way to much pepper. I like there boudin it has a good flavor, but some of the other stuff I’ve tried is border line inedible.

Came here to brag on the fried crawfish pies. Damn they are good. And the crawfish pistolettes (sp) too.

Gas station food FTW

And Krispy Krunchy chicken strips. Best chicken strips by far!
