Liquor stores going gangbusters

The owner of my liquor store is an older, modest gentleman. Has done well in life with several locations. He's really chill and hard to excite (unless you want to talk scotch).
Tonight he acted like he had won the lottery after I casually asked if his business was doing ok during quarantine.
Paraphrased:
"We're doing DOUBLE the daily volume we do for Christmas week and it's been going for a month with no slowing down. I'll hit my average annual revenue number by May 1st"
So not everyone is hurting

Second most surprising news behind Hotel Corona backfiring in NOLA.

Hopefully JBE will shut them down soon. Liquor is the grease that keeps evil mobilized and it is in no way essential to society.

If only I could start a dispensary here in Houston.
Sadly, old meemaws and pappies born in the 50s and 60s don't want me smoking the devil's lettuce.
Tell me why we're shutting down the entire economy to save some old fat fricks again?

First of all, good to see you back to your thing.
Secondly, I know you jest, but if people want to re-open shite, they should hope someone shuts down liquor stores.
Even the big government folks are quarantine-alcoholics and would revolt. People would storm the Bastille.

Lots of things were better back then.
But I'd still choose air conditioned and smoke free indoor environments

Oh, it totally happened. Now, homeless people are doing homeless people shite in the hotel and the people in charge are all like
And they're moving half of them to another hotel because the people in charge are claiming they're doing homeless people shite and are a risk for spreading coronavirus because they're too densely packed in the first hotel, not because they're bums.

The OT never disappoints in hi-lighting to me to the sheer amount of alcohol that is consumed by what I take is the average citizen on a daily basis.

This never fails to make me smile. Thanks, Baw.

Good. That means they can close for the rest of the year and people can learn to go without drinking without causing economical stress on the business owners.

Jesus, who’s pretty authoritative on evil, disagrees.

Cry about it you 420 blaze it bro. I smoke every day without a dispensary around. You’ll be fine.

I looked behind the counter in rouses in plaquemine today and there was zero Crown, shitty gin, or decent tequila.
I bought a bottle of basil Hayden dark rye just to show there is some semblance of refinement.

I went to the 504 craft brewing place the other day when I didn’t really need to just to keep up the spirit of supporting local, It yeah I quickly realized they had all the support they needed, still got 3 six packs of Things Unsettled so
