Yes, that's exactly how it works. He's not my very bestest friend since the 1st grade. He's a powerful figure that likes to be in the spotlight. When his interests align with mine then I'll cheer him on. And when they're counter to mine then I'll tell him to go frick himself.

Rispone has no puppet master, he’s using his own money, and he didn’t get to where he is being “owned”.

Alleva is out and St. George is a thing. I'm 2-0. Lipsey is 1-1. Hopefully, he gets the chance to agree with me again in the future.

So far he's failed. He also failed at getting rid of F King. He did get JA moved from the AD position but he is still employed by LSU so I guess that's a tie.

Somebody finally gets it here. Rispone is slimy and crooked as they come. JBE is not much better. The people need to demand better choices to help this state. I think Rispone will send it spiralling down faster.

One thing StG has done is help to realize how messed up BR’s southern boundaries are.
When they were annexing in areas last time why did they exclude the school on Nicholson below Dean Lee I think and the street in between land annexed (or already in city)? It may be my phone but it looks like the road is a public EBR road while city incorporated everything on either side and at both ends of this section of Nicholson south of school. It’s a parish school and parish part of road. Those don’t normally seem left out when annexing almost everything around them.

Dunno, but Lipsey sent out flier after flirt eugh half truths and lies about SG.
He backed Edwards twice now and even did an ad for him. He’s not one to carry the conservative torch.

That's not his right. That wasn't anyone's right lol. His right, along with everyone else, was having one vote to cast for whatever side he favored. A reasonable person would accept it or move. Not ask a municipality to annex roads that lead to his house.
But I agree that he can do what he wants and if he has the sway to make that happen then power to him.
My original post was just to say that just because a person agrees with someone on one issue doesn't mean they must agree on all issues. And such a situation isn't hypocritical in the least.
