The LAST thing he is is phony. Family man, never skips mass, raised his kids right, kind and generous. I have no idea if he will make a good governor but is 100% a class act.

would you vote for him if you didnt know him?
and all you knew about him was from his ads and that ridiculous debate?

do us all (and your state) a solid...go next door and ask him to write down his to-do list for his first term, and post it here

Why don’t you drive over to the mansion and get Edwards’ vision for the future for us?

Never mind, if you got it no one would believe a word he said.

Based on where he is supposed to be (Rieger Rd area), it sounds like he wants them to grab a chunk of 10 between Bluebonnet and Siegen.

Change, starting with a new Constitution.
Cutting govt, cutting out waste and fraud and maximizing our dollars. Making La. competitive with our neighbors. Use the advantages that we have to compete and not use them for special interests.

Complete overhaul to change the tax code, the way parishes are beholden to the state and to provide flexibility in formation of a budget.

DOTD for example, spend more on concrete and less on office managers. Medicaid, improve fraud detection and stop the abuse.

Do you believe Rispone could reform car insurance in La. to help consumers? Or would Edwards be better? What about reforming nursing homes? The owners back Edwards, why is that? You know why. That’s two examples.

the only way to do that is to eliminate set asides, constitutional funding mandates and *gasp* the homestead exemption

without those the convention would be a colossal waste of time and tax dollars. But nobody will come out and say that because that’s electoral suicide

The Siegel Lane commercial corridor was already grabbed by the city. He just wants them to annex the SERVICE ROAD, not the damn interstate, and the corner of Exchequer where his place sits.

Lipsey wants the city to annex a sliver of 10 so his side of the interstate can then be adjacent to the city.

quote:

Because Lipsey’s property is not immediately contiguous to the boundaries of the city of Baton Rouge, a requirement for annexation, the company is requesting to annex a sliver of Interstate 10 and Rieger Road, which will be used to link the property to city-owned property across I-10.

I thought business people know best and political families need to go?

Why is the opposite true with SG? Your leader has family members that were appointed to Mayor, Police Chief, and school board of Central, along with high-ranking state government appointments.

Nothing really wrong with that. It's just an odd juxtaposition with the narrative pushed in the governor's election.

Rieger Rd . to which you refer is a Parish street not a service road . he needs DOTD to request annexation from BTR
