Lineman baw had a close call

Transformer blew. He was rushed to the hospital but I heard he is ok though I’m not sure how. Dude has a guardian angel over him

Never had one explode on me, but I was climbing out in Ponchatoula one afternoon when a thunderstorm rolled in. I’m strapped off on my pole just under the transformer when I heard one explode a half mile away. Broke a few laws of physics and plenty of OSHA codes getting my arse back onto solid ground.

Judging by the picture, that looks to be a voltage regulator rack. Contains much more oil that a transformer used to serve a home. Probably that it wasnt stepped to neutral, be the indicator light failing, the dial head reading wrong, or mistake.
