Austin Peay campus police are currently investigating the incident, which university officials have referred to as “deeply disturbing,” but is believed to be a display meant for an introductory sculpture class that was pre-approved by an instructor.

Efforts have been made to reach the art professor believed to have approved the project, but at the time of publication there has been no response to interview requests.

If it was an art project, you can't automatically assume it was to intimidate the LGBT community. Maybe the message is to show the plight of the LGBT community? If that's the message, then maybe the Black community will be triggered.

One thing is certain: someone will be triggered and outraged.

How exhausting it must be to be triggered and offended all the time by everything.

There is no way other than an art student that this would be put up. What hateful white devil would actually go out and look for colored ropes for their nooses and arrange in the correct spectrum ROYGBIV. They would have to hand over their klan hood on the spot.

A noose knot is one of the easier knots to make. The rope looks like it might just be braided yarn.
