that depends on things like demographics and/or family history with that school. very unlikely, though
if you're black female from a lower SES (and likely the South), you have a shot
if you're an asian or white male? no
also if your parent or grandparent is a famous alumni or a politicians or a bid donor? you can get in

damn. the perils of being a white baw
I will probably just go the route of MS in finance or accounting. business schools seem to put more emphasis on the GMAT score. 3 more years of avoiding the real world is so appealing though

That's going to net you more on ROI than law school, to be honest.

When I first got to LSU I 100% wanted to go to law school; had the vision and feel like I could make a solid lawyer. the job market just scared the shite out of me, and I ended up just getting cold feet
now I have a bad GPA and just need to get a worthwhile masters, so obviously accounting and finance stand out. MBA doesn't seem worth it being two years, and it's pretty much designed for non business majors.
everything I've read seems to indicate a really high GMAT can offset a bad gpa, so we shall see

If you're a minority, you can dance your way with a mid 150s LSAT into a T1 school and get scholly money.

His dad is an attorney for Schlemberger. What a disgrace.

More concerned that the school is some for profit “scam” and less concerned that it will produce any incompetent lawyers. If the scores are that bad, it’s not like they have any hope to pass the bar exam.

Question: can you get into a top law school with a below average GPA but high LSAT?
Northwestern in Chicago used to take a lot of people in this position (splitters). People with a few years real work experience, average GPA, and high LSAT. I haven't followed all of this stuff closely in several years though.
Check out LawSchoolNumbers.com, and you can see exactly what GPA and LSAT make you a competitive applicant at each school.

One of my best friends went to cooley... 160 range lsat, history and something else double major at vtech. Did not take the bar since he wasn't sure which state he'd be in, and has moved 3 times since graduation lol. He had been doing AML shite for banks last 4 years or so, may have switched over to something else very recently.
My younger brother graduated from fsu law, passed the bar on the first attempt... coaches youth soccer. Tony larussa plan for him apparently
