Let's talk men's suits and dress attire

Was at a wedding this past weekend and couldn't have been more glad to stand out from the sea of navy/grey suits and pastel ties. Things have gotten to stale for many.
I definitely stick with a dark suit most of the time, usually black. Doesn't show stains and goes with anything. A white shirt and dark tie can almost look like a tuxedo, so I spice it up with a different color pattern - blue or red usually. Something like this:
While I don't usually go with a vest, it can be a nice piece to build from or change things up - especially if you carry a pocket watch or chain wallet.
Shoes? It's all about comfort, but these days there is no reason to compromise on style to get it. Again - black is the color of the day. Black shoes are for every occasion. Slip ons are for more casual wear (they also go great with jeans) while the lace ups would present a more formal look.
Most guys will overlook the belt, HUGE mistake. It is the piece that ties everything together and an easy place to make a statement. I eschew the normal bland buckle for a something a little more stylish and classy.
I know what you're thinking - why would you splurge for a Michael Kors belt when something less would do? Simple: you're only as good as the weakest link in your wardrobe. Don't skimp there!
Anyone going with anything similar to avoid the cookie cutter look?

Was anybody else at the wedding sporting a neckbeard?

That Damone is trying to tell us he loves fashion?

Grey w/green shirt or black w/green is my go-to.

The red is trashy IMO. I think the 3 piece is, too, but there are probably guys who can pull it off.
Those Eccos are fiya and I wear them all the time.

I had a whole response typed up before I realized this was a troll thread. I don't know how grown men can wear stuff like that. It screams "I have a kid out of wedlock with my girlfriend"

AKA, the "I got court" starter kit

MK must be your boyfriends initials

Generally with dress attire, classic is better

Nah, wasn't really thinking that, exactly. More like why would a grown arse man want to advertise a brand on their belt and pay money to do it?

You had me until I got to the shoes. Those “formal lace ups” made the hook way too shiny.

You overplayed your hand with the shoes, should've kept it more believable. Had me hooked with the black suit + blue/red shirt, but then it got too silly with the Eccos

We’re adults so we try not to dress like we’re going to a high school homecoming dance.
“Cookie cutter” is a euphemism for “proper”. When your other nut drops, you’ll realize this and quit dressing like a game show host.

Doesn't show stains
Maybe try owning more than one suit and going to the cleaners once in a while

Did you wear a designer face diaper too?
