Let's talk about things that are severely overrated

Here are a couple things that I think are overrated:

New Cars - for the price, a depreciating "asset" just doesn't cut it for me. I'd rather dump more money into my house being that it generally appreciates in value and I spend far more time there than I do in my car. Plus, buying an older car and modifying it is pretty cool and is far less costly in the long run.

Fast Food Burgers - People here give McDonald's shite, and rightfully so, but all ff burgers are crap to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a burger whore so much that my wife calls me Wimpy, but I think they all are "meh". Whataburger is blah to me and I haven't had In N Out, but I'm sure its mediocre as well. The best burgers I have had all came from hole in the wall places. The best in T-town are as follows: Wright's, Nick's Filet House(Nick's In The Sticks), Buddy's Rib and Steak. These type of places always have great burgers.
