I drank a 6 pack of Corona last night but don’t know anyone personally or know of anybody whose father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate tested positive either

I know nobody infected or who has died.
And she was also interviewed as a relative of the 50th death coming out of Seattle. Wake up OT!!!

No
No
My future BIL had someone test positive for it that sits near him at work, but it’s been 9 days since he’s seen him and he hasn’t shown symptoms. He’s going to self quarantine for 5 more days.

Unless you have zero friends and no job with coworkers you will certainly know someone infected. You will also likely know someone who dies. If not a first hand connection you will know someone that has a family member that dies.
This is a really, really bad take.
Do you know people who die every year from the flu? Because the flu will be more deadly than this bullshite when all is said and done.

There have been something like 1050 tests here in AL. Only like 150 tested positive.
What does that tell you?
People have been frightened by the media to the point of thinking this pandemic is MUCH more widespread than it is, and our citizens have panicked.
This is mostly bullshite.

Threads like this are why Louisana has fewer people in the state than Atlanta or Houston as a city, yet, maintains the highest per-capita number of cases (and growing!)
Not going to lie, chuckled when I saw the swaths of people in the French Quarter after schools closed. I've always believed Darwinism as theory is generally correct, and sometimes fun to watch.

Friend of mine knows 5 unique people who have it. Pretty sure they are the reason behind the explosion of new cases in Houston. 4/5 have recovered
1 is stable but to clear

I know of 2 people that were told that they most likely have it, but were told that because they had mild symptoms and did not need hospitalization, that they would not be tested and to just go home and self quarantine

I work in healthcare and I know no one who is or has family/friends infected.
This is a government/media devised plan to use something that they’ve built up in society to take freedoms and control.

Is that because the total number of cases is a fraction of a percent of the American population?
Quite a bold hypothesis.

Several posters have said that we will know somebody who is sick and know somebody who is dead. This thread is in response to their collective ignorance.

Do you have any medical background? I do and I’m in the middle of this stuff.
