Unless you have zero friends and no job with coworkers you will certainly know someone infected. You will also likely know someone who dies. If not a first hand connection you will know someone that has a family member that dies.

My sister and brother in law tested positive. Two of their three children are showing symptoms, but haven't been tested yet.

I think the hysteria over COVID-19/Wuhan Flu, especially by the government now, is taking actions in the name of doing something, not because it will have an impact.
And I think your OP is retarded. We better hope most people don’t know someone who got it or very few and we better pray the overwhelming majority do not even tangentially know someone who died or else this virus would be exceptionally deadly.
