First we have

Deputy Mayor, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Resilience Officer

Jeff Hebert

quote:

Mr. Hebert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Design and Architecture Studies from New York University, a Master in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of the NeighborWorks® America Achieving Excellence in Community Development program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Deputy Mayor of Citywide Initiatives

Judy Reese Morse

Wonder if there is any relation to Judge Reese

quote:

Morse has an undergraduate degree in Communications from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Master of Public Administration from American University in Washington, DC.

And there is this cuk...

Deputy Mayor of External Affairs

Ryan Berni
His Twitter

quote:

Berni began his work with the City in May 2010 as Press Secretary and later Communications Director, where he managed media, public relations and special projects and events for the City of New Orleans. In 2013 and early 2014, he served as campaign manager for Mayor Landrieu’s successful re-election campaign. He returned to City Hall as the Senior Advisor to the Mayor, leading citywide policy and public affairs initiatives including the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. In late 2014, Berni took a leave of absence to manage former United States Senator Mary Landrieu’s re-election campaign in its final months. Prior to working at City Hall, Berni served as Chief of Staff for political strategist James Carville, based in Washington, D.C. There, he directed Carville’s media, research, writing, and business development operations, as well as served as a consultant to international political clients across the globe. He also served in various capacities with the Louisiana Democratic Party. Berni holds a degree in political science from Louisiana State University.

Executive Director of Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans

Cedric S. Grant

The biggest crook in the City of New Orleans

quote:

Cedric S. Grant serves as the Executive Director of Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans. In this capacity, he oversees the City’s capital development, infrastructure projects, and community development initiatives. By coordinating the efforts of the Capital Projects Administration, the Department of Public Works, Property Management, and the Project Delivery Unit, the Deputy Mayor enhances the city’s recovery effort and helps integrate both the rebuilding of roads and buildings as well as their ongoing maintenance. By also overseeing the city’s ongoing efforts at community development, the Deputy Mayor connects the recovery with ongoing projects to help build the strongest neighborhoods possible for all citizens. Mr. Grant comes to City Hall after serving as Chief Administrative Officer of Ascension Parish, Louisiana,

Last but not least, she probably hates her job

City Attorney

Rebecca H. Dietz, J.D.

quote:

Dietz began her work for the City in 2012 in the City Attorney’s office. Dietz served as the head of the Contracts Division where she provided oversight, review, and negotiation of City contracts, as well as served as liaison between City department leadership and numerous contractors, including local and national businesses, non-profit organizations, community partiers and quasi-governmental entities. In 2014 Dietz accepted the position of General Counsel and Deputy Director of Legal Affairs for the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Dietz’s work for the Airport included oversight of all legal matters, including procurement of the Construction Manager At Risk for the new North Terminal Airport Project. Prior to joining the City Hall team, Dietz was a partner at the law firm King, Krebs and Jurgens where she maintained a litigation practice focused on oil and gas and environmental litigation. Dietz represented oil companies and corporate clients in all aspects of regulatory compliance, oilfield contamination and remediation litigation, property damage, toxic tort litigation and incident response. She also worked with her clients through all stages of mediation and settlement. Dietz is a 2002 graduate of Tulane Law School where she earned a Specialization Certificate in the field of environmental law. Dietz is an active member of the Louisiana Bar and an inactive member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.

I would bet money that Ryan Berni follows the line of something like this.

-not very popular through most of life
-only got into fraternity due to being a 3rd generation legacy
-drops his job title on a regualr basis to have chance with the ladies

He sucks at his job..

quote:

he oversees the administration of City Hall. The Deputy Mayor also leads the Mayor’s efforts to improve city government performance and the Mayor’s charge to return the city to fiscal stability. Hebert is a city planner by profession, and has previously served as the Executive Director of the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) where he oversaw $42.5 million in direct investment and leveraged over $191 million in additional capital. Prior to being appointed to NORA, from 2010 to 2012, Hebert served as the Mayor’s Director of Blight Policy and Revitalization, where he developed The Blight Strategy, which was awarded a 2012 Bright Idea Award from the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, reducing blight by 10,000 units in the first three years of the Mayor’s term. Before joining the Landrieu Administration, Hebert led the state’s Regional Plan for Recovery and Growth following the devastation from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita as the Director of Community Planning for the Louisiana Recovery Authority. Over the past eight years, Jeff has advised government officials across the globe on disaster recovery planning and implementation including the State of Iowa after floods in 2008, Queensland Reconstruction Authority, Australia after floods in 2010, prefectural and national agencies in Japan after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in 2011, and New York City government agencies after Hurricane Sandy in 2012. As Chief Resilience Officer, Hebert oversees the implementation of the nation’s first Comprehensive Resilience Strategy, development of the city’s climate action plan and sea level rise and climate adaptation strategies, and was recently appointed by Governor John Bel Edwards to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Coastal Protection, Restoration, and Conservation.
