I have no problem with criticizing the Mayor on policy issues, including the monuments. That said....
His administrative appointments overall are the most qualified (with the exception of the public works head), maybe since the Dutch Morial days. Most of those people you listed are from outside NO and have great resumes and work backgrounds. Thats not even including the City Planning Director and the Head of Safety and Permits who have done great jobs of cleaning up and modernizing those departments.
Last, I think Jeff Hebert is a Catholic High BR grad, that should make him at least a 5 on the OT WYHI scale.

They were pretty run of the mill from what I remember.
He was a nerdy little white guy that used to try and fit in with the black girls. It was odd.

You would think the only thing Mitch has done since being elected almost 8 years ago was try to take the statues down. While people had issues with him before all of this its just funny that now all of the sudden everyone hates him for the crime, streets etc. where was the outrage two years ago. Cime while not as bad was bad and the streets were bad too.
