Had one interception on a 2pt conversion and immediately ran over my teammate due to Adrenalin blindness.

Qualified for the 1996 US Open at Oakland Hills. Did not make the cut but the USGA paid me $1500 just for making the tournament. Almost covered my expenses for the week.

Walk off against Brandon Moss in HS. He had a long MLB career though not as a pitcher. Blew a couple fastballs right by me and then for some reason threw a curve that hung over the outside corner.

I blocked a punt in high school, and in 3 of our games I never got off the field (offense, defense and special teams) until the game was over.

That’s all I got.

Got a clean steal on Geert Hammink in like 92 or 93 in a pickup basketball game that this 5ft 8in white boy had absolutely no business playing in

First time I faced a pitcher that could throw 100 or better I was 12 years old in the seventh grade starting JV but only got in varsity games when we were blowing people out. Probably not even five feet tall yet. Coach had me pinch hit in a big game for varsity and told me to get small to get a walk. I squatted down and first two pitches were balls then ump figured out what we were doing and started calling strikes. 2-2 count I got the sign to swing away. So I stood up got ready and started my swing as soon as I saw the ball leave pitchers fingers. Just getting my bat out there I made contact and the speed of the pitch made that ball jump off the bat I got a double and we won. If you’ve ever faced a 100+ pitcher it’s fast but it’s blindingly fast to a twelve year old.

I was 8. Minors in Little League. First year playing baseball. Worst kid on the team. Other team needed 1 more player to play the game. My team offered me up. My team was all white. Their team was all black. I learned 20 new cuss words that day. They threatened me with death and torture if I didn’t get hits. I went up to bat scared sh!+less every time. I hit for the cycle that day. Never played as good as that again.

I flashed Crack-a-Go-Go (5.11c) on the Cookie in Yo Valley in 1999. Some might call it an on-site but I did have some local beta for my rack so flash it is.
Unless you can explain wtfrick this means and that it's not a euphemism for a sex act then I've got wheel of fortune dude ahead of you in athleticism.

I once had two dunks in a pickup game back in HS as a 6’0 white kid. I never was quite good enough to get a lot of PT in football or even make the basketball team in middle school so I practiced trying to dunk all summer going into my 10th grade year and it paid off.

185 average bowler. Bowled a 295 one night. Last throw I left open a “Greek church” split. Last throw felt like every other throw but the bowling gods were not having it that night.

It is a bit of an IYKYK kinda thing there might be 3-4 other people on TD that it makes sense to.

I am talking about rock climbing.

Crack-A-Go-Go is a crack climb on the Lower Merced River Canyon on a Cookie Clif in Yosemite Valley. It is one of the great single pitch trad climbs in Yo Valley the first free ascent was done in the 70s (the first aid ascent was in the 60's) It is a trad or traditional climb because you carry your protection and place it as you go. 5.11c (free climbing in other words without aid*) is the grade or difficulty of the climb, difficult but far from world class, even at the time. The biggest accomplishment is flashing it. An on-site of a route is when you walk up to the base of the climb with NO prior information at all and climb it the first time without falling, a flash is when you do the same except you have a little or a lot of beta (information on the climb). I had been told a couple of things by a local about what to carry on my rack (shoulder sling that holds all your protection) so I consider it a flash vs an onsite. I climbed significantly harder routes over the years but on-sites/flashes are the holy grail of trad climbing and that was my pinnacle of on-site/flashing.

*aid climbing is when you use small hooks et al and a webbing ladder called aiders to bypass an area where there are not enough holds large enough to free climb, it is acceptable ethics wise but I always avoided it, if I can't climb it free I don't climb it, if it requires bolts for protection I rarely climb those routes (called sport routes). It is easy to be brave above a bolt. Somewhere I have a T-shirt from Seneca Rocks with that mantra on it.

Some pictures of the route, none are me

Went 3 for 4 with 3 homers senior year high school

Threw a 1-hitter and a 2-hitter senior year high school

While playing JUCO baseball, I threw only 63 pitches in 6 innings and lost 1-0. We would play two 7-inning games on game days.

Also during JUCO, came in as relief pitcher in the 5th inning and pitched 9 shutout innings until the 14th when the opposing pitcher hit a solo shot off of me. The opposing pitcher pitched all 14 innings.

Senior year of football while playing safety had 6 interceptions on the year. Second game of the season I had 2 the last one being in the end zone to seal a 7-0 victory.
In baseball pitched a one hitter my senior year. Also went 5-6 one game. In my last high school game I ever played in I started on the mound and pitched a complete game 3 hitter and struck out 10 in a 4-3 victory. We were tied 3-3 going into the bottom of the 7th. I lead off with a single, stole second, and advanced to 3rd on a ground ball. With one out our coach gave the squeeze. The batter(I knew he would) missed the bunt, but I slid in head first and stole home for the 4-3 win. Everybody mobbed me at home plate and coach gave me the game ball(first one given out all year) after the game.
