I'm sure you're right. I think they taught A years ago (only when both directions were u-turn only, not taking a left turn across the median). My memory is shot so I could def be wrong.

B is correct because of the direction of traffic you have to look into when turning

B for sure... and if the cross at the median’s light is Red, I would ALWAYS go through it while checking the cross traffic, like it was a stop sign... Absolutely NO sense in blocking the “cut through”

B but you're likely to get T-boned if you do it

Which do you consider correct, A or B?

You don’t have to wrestle with these difficult decisions. You just have to worry about how to get the soy burgers away from those pesky homeless.

It’s B obviously but if you actually try to do it correctly, you will get blasted by the idiot coming from the other side since they assume A.

It’s never enforced by cops so people don’t give a crap.

Not only is it not enforced, but there aren't usually stripes or markers identifying one cars rightful territory from the others. It's a free for all out there in the median..

The answer is B.

Unless you are La DOTD, then you make it any way you want.

In South Lafourche, DOTD started construction on eliminating many of these cross overs along 3235.

In the process, they closed the normally safe intersections and forced detours to unlit crossovers while construction progressed. Instead of pacing construction and doing and completing each intersection, they closed one and did about 75% of the work and then moved on to another intersection. So now about 3 months in, drivers are forced to use unsafe intersections DOTD did not want us to use in the first place.
