Their sports was set to come back this fall, keyword “was”.

The Liberty Patriots makes the most sense out of these three

They were the Lee Rebels obviously that was scratched they changed to the Lee Patriots sometime later

Yep, during Reconstruction. Black Louisianians gained considerable political power during reconstruction. Then the Democrat party put an end to that

It happened and then Democrats squashed it all over the south certainly in Louisiana. FWIW I want to say the only two republican mayors in New Orleans history was during reconstruction as well, think of that only two to this day just random interesting thing I looked up.

Lee High is actually a true magnet school, along with BR High.

The other Baton Rouge schools with magnet attached to it are not.
