Was walking through the neighborhood this morning and saw these three cars in a driveway with their wipers up.

Why?

They can’t fit one car into the garage?
Doesn’t look like freezing drizzle is the reason so who knows.

They may have put armor all on the wiper blades. It’s been hot and dry, depending on your area. So they may be concerned about them drying out.

Normally that is to keep them from freezing.

Maybe they were cleaning windshields and forgot to put them down

It’s a prank. Someone was messing with them and it looks like a party no less.

Relaxes the spring pressure on the wiper arms to extend the life of the blades. Downward pressure on the windshield is increased for the entire life of the vehicle using this method. Combining this practice with consistent blade replacements is recommended by the Blade Institute.

I would guess it’s a prank. The kids in my neighborhood did this as a “calling card” for their friends. Woke up a few mornings seeing this done to my son’s car parked in the drive. Harmless fun.

I bet no one ever sits on that bench. Kind of a sad little symbol capturing the sterile anomie of affluent suburban life in the post-plandemic era.

The cars are the grandchildren of Herbie the Love Bug and Kitt from Knight Rider. They have emotions and dream at night.

So basically, what you’re seeing is morning wood.
