I make a point to hire JWs for seasonal work. They don't expect holiday pay or time off other than Sunday, so it's a win/win

Not really, they are just different from you. And maybe that's not bad? Yes they do have a different approach to life but I've encountered many and they are for the most part good people. I'm not discussing their beliefs.

I’ve worked with a few JW’s, they don’t believe in sin, the guys had all kinds of women on the side, besides their wives.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the courage and conviction to knock on the doors of strangers to try and talk with them about their faith. I fundamentally disagree with what they preach, but I respect the hell out of their commitment.

I know two, a black woman and a white guy. They work at the bank I do business with. They seem alright. I've been told they stick together vs the other employees but have no firsthand knowledge.

I'm learning something I didn't know. They use "disfellowshipping" like Scientologists and Mormons..... get out of line and you are shunned. Doesn't matter if it's your sibling or your parent or your child. You are required to cut off contact.

That's fricked up, and is totally characteristic of a cult.

Which is the entire reason she is going after them contrary to what some of the hyper sensitive religious folk in this thread seem to think.

Anybody ever ask one whose seat they are taking at the table when the 144,000 are finalized?

In HS I got friendly with two JW chicks who were pretty and cool but beat down by their folks, even to point of emotional abuse. Both turned out pretty bad or blah.

I thought she hated the Scientologists?

She sounds like a crazy bitch who has a few fake rape accusations in her back pocket.

And not only that, they believe there is a finite number of spots in heaven (or wherever) - something like 140K total, I think. That is serious dedication to potentially try to recruit someone that could end up knocking you out of your slot!

Its a way to control people with scarcity.

Its a cult.

Like telling them they won’t go to heaven and will suffer if they don’t accept Jesus?

If you can't tell the difference you're an idiot. JW is saying 1 percent of its followers are worthy of heaven. Not the same for other Christian religions.

It creates a form of control and competition. It prays on the weak that join and feel they have to climb the ranks.

To me Leah sounds like a bitch.
Sometimes I wonder if her bitch with Scientology is she couldn't go higher up in the church.
I think she wanted more power and they said frick off.

First Scientology, now Jehovah's Witnesses. I guess Mormonism is next on her list.
