They are providing them, and making all employees sign off on this new mandate.
After a quick Google search the consensus seems to be no.

edit* If it wasn't required before the Covid-19 outbreak?

I'm not a fricking idiot I know different jobs mandate PPE.

If you live in an At will state, they can fire you at anytime. So yeah, they can make you if you want to work there.

Just wear it. Your mouth and nose will be protected from oil splatter when you drop the baskets of fries

Tell your employer you're not going to wear a mask and report back your findings.

Yes, we can, we make people wear PPE all the time, hard hats, helmets, eye protection etc. In this job market, be thankful you have a job because you can be a hard arse and find yourself packing your bags.

Plants do it all the time. I do realize this is different scenario, but it seems no different than grocery stores mandating their cashiers to wear gloves.

Effectiveness aside, I don't see requiring mask to be a constitutional thing.

They should be able to.

Why not?

If it is part of the employers exposure control plan, put your fuggin mask on. If an employer says you must wear a respirator in the paint booth, are you going to argue the legitimacy of the control? Put your mask on and get to work.

obviously the answer is yes for medical personnel and people required by OSHA to do so.
My job did not require me to wear a mask before this pandemic.

I hate the God damned mask thing, but I respect the hell out of your employer for providing them if they mandate it
