Lawyers of OT, who is the best/worst Lawyer you've seen in Court?

One of my favorite shows is Better Call Saul and I associate Saul with all the scum Billboard Lawyers in Louisiana and his brother with the lawyers you never hear about but are good.
Anyway, I’m just curious. Civil, Criminal, Federal doesn't matter.
Might need it one day.

I doubt you get many substantive replies from attorneys. I’ll be curious to see the replies from lay people, though.

Just because you did it doesn't mean you're guilty.

In my area?
Ed Blackmon. Can just turn on a dime if objection sustained and make same point. Knows how to go for jugular and when to use theatrics

Ol' Ben Matlock is crafty, as well.

I don’t know but I sat in court for a hour this week while two attorneys argued over a parking lot dispute and it was the most ridiculous and petty shite I’ve heard in a while. Even had a live witness testify for 30 minutes about it and the other attorney asked him immature and irrelevant questions. Pissed off everyone else waiting for their hearing to go before the judge.

Mike Small up in Alexandria used to be the man to get you out of a jam back in the day.

Probably not what your exactly looking for, but in law school I took a Bankruptcy class. Our teacher was the Federal Bankruptcy Judge. We spent a fair bit of time in class in the court house watching live bankruptcy proceedings.
Watching a judge who is truly a specialist in the area of law he's presiding over is really cool.

I honestly have seen some very good lawyering by many people but everyone worth a damn has good days and bad days.
There are also places that certain lawyers owned and you were foolish to try cases there.
JB in Cameron Parish, Blackmon in Holmes County, etc etc
Justice Kitchens was a damn good lawyer in his day, Boyce Holiman was so good, a jury once brought him a cake for his birthday in the middle of a trial.
That’s the best I ever tried a case with

The Kyle Rittenhouse prosecutor has to be up there as one of the worst.
Amber Heard's attorneys too.
The FTC attorneys on the Microsoft/ABK case made spurious arguments the entire trial.

Having been a part of many criminal trials over the years, the best lawyer is only as good as the innocence of his client.
Best lawyer with all the evidence of guilt present and a confession from his client can’t make a good defense of the facts.
Only option is to argue the law.
Basically if the facts are on your side, argue the facts.
If the law is on your side, argue the law.
If neither the facts or the law support your client, bury the prosecution with motions.

He kind of did in the last season, one brother got time but the other went home.
