I don’t think either because those would require some mental acuity. He’s more a short bus rider, at best.

Mountains are going to do a number on it. Also the heat will be removed somewhat by Marco from the Gulf so less energy to feed it and why it will not hit as a hurricane.

In this case neither. He is desperately trying to bend the facts to fit his nothing-burger hot takes from days ago.

No clue. I'm in Vermilion Parish. Electricity went off at about 10:30. Don't even know what it's like over here. I can't see shite. Only heard a lot of commotion until about 3:30.

Think there's gonna be a ton of wind damage to structures when light of day hits but the storm surge is not going to be anything like they predicted and LC is very fortunate in that regard

Downtown LC seems marginally fine from the videos. For experiencing a hurricane that is.

Daylight will tell the rest of the story just east of Lake Charles.

It doesn’t sound like the surge was as bad as expected. No idea on wind damage until sun comes out I guess. I did see a toy hauler get toppled

Looks like it's tracking east. Maybe the Barksdale bubble is real.

Still north, but a little shift to the east.

Having a feeder band over head here. Could use 3"-5" of rain. Been super dry here.

A more direct hit actually helped them. If it went on the state line it would have been much worse storm surge wise.

And damage reports or anything from swla yet?
I am guessing that if you loved something in Cameron Parish, you should have gotten a picture of it yesterday.

Which means somebody further east got slammed with high water.

Am I wrong when saying that a big band is about to roll through BR?
