I woke up 4 am to howling winds and by 7 am I had trees snapping like nothing.
By 9, I was confined to one room in my house
Once the winds died down, around noon, I opened my front door and could not believe what had happened
I couldn’t even see the street through the downed trees
It was overwhelming

Morning folks.
Hope and pray for all.
Was outside with the pups. They were not happy at all. Kept looking at me like WTF is going on and make it stop.
So, how bad was the flooding?

Young dude, Tevon, on TWC was just explaining how they use sheetrock to build with, on the indoors. Then he said they sometimes use it as roofing also.

Maybe not in MS but in Nola he’s right. We were in a hotel in Houston watching the news (before the levees broke) and we thought we’d be able to head home that day or the next. Then all hell broke loose.

NOLA was a man made disaster, Katrina should've been a nothing burger there.

They are reporting that it hit ground at 150 and saying it is the strongest LA landfall in 154 years. That is not a cat 2.

Yeah, trying to figure out if CitizenK is trolling or ignorant.

Hope y’all fellas have minimal damage this AM. I don’t think Lafayette got the extent of what they predicted. No power lost here in Milton.

Ignorant. Gets called out in every weather thread.
