What I said earlier is happening with Laura!! 14 is headed more West. Which is somewhat a good sign hopefully it lands far enough West That no one in La feels affects of it!! Do need getting fricked on both sides of the state. Let’s hope Laura doesn’t balloon up to a 2 or 3 before land fall. If so we are doomed.

The good news is the forecast path will change a half dozen times before it eventually makes continental landfall.
Yesterday afternoon it was forecast to make landfall west of Apalachicola, FL.
can't we get 6 hours of quality shite posting in first before the next cone comes out though?

That's pretty cool. I've never seen all of the updates put together chronologically

Something looks out of whack with the frames in that gif. The entire cone suddenly shifts south and west including the previous forecast path locations.

Suppose this westward shift stops around Vermillion Bay and suppose Laura really does grow rapidly into a category 3 or higher storm and it makes landfall at 2-3pm Wednesday. That means hurricane force winds starting around dusk and lasting into the night.
Nighttime hurricanes are immensely more nerve wrecking because you hear everything but can't see shite.
And suppose my aunt had balls.

NHC shifted the entire track south earlier.
