It was eventually gonna get forecasted to LA. The cone started in the eastern panhandle of FL. Before this last one it was Mobile. These two will get close enough for us to see the Fujiwhara. It’s inevitable.

They sure do. I think it'll keep shifting west and end up making landfall between Galveston and Lake Charles.

HWRF and HMON, although hurricane models, should be taken more as a directional key. Their strength forecasts are almost always complete crap.
