Every time a woman says don’t, it just makes you want to.

A small piece of solace for our residents in SWLA.

You have the option to flee and the resources to rebuild

A storm of similar magnitude is sitting just off the coast of North Korea right now

Radar indicated rotation near Erwinville moving North/Northwest towards False River.

The low level radar in that area is atrociously bad.

Damn. Thanks for the input.

My heart is starting to sink a little more each hour for everyone in SWLA.

No. Think of it like the wind dying down on the coast - the waves don't go away right away. An EWRC isn't on the immediate horizon, and you'd need one now to really have any impact by 1AM.

I go out the front door and step onto porch for a few seconds then go back in. I always look around to see if anyone else does the same thing.

Agreed

On a video conference this morning I turn tv to TWC at 7:00 to see the update and get them talking about the potential for power outages in Kentucky.

There's a gap in coverage between the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. Unfortunately the last two tornado warnings are in that gap.

The bottom half of that storm is gonna come crashing in on the Baton Rouge area by tomorrow morning. The eyeball is powerful but I see nothing to stop that south side from pounding eastern LA. Plus once it hit land it’s gonna move north and then east as a front takes over... gonna be a rough couple days for the whole state.
