I think we dropped you from the card, but you're always a risk to get back on it.

ETA - out of respect we left the Lake Charles folks off.

Straight i10

Not bad after Lafayette

Just had to take Beldon until 210 because there was a wreck stopping all easterly traffic

Cool. Good luck. I can't offer much, but if you need anything while in town let me know. Hope your place fairs well.

Hey neighbor. I’m on the east side of 171 also. Keep me posted how you’re doing as much as you can if you don’t mind tomorrow night.

I am on west side. Will do

Eta: drinking too much and lost my directional ability.

Yea brick on slab that survived Rita with only a few lifted shingles and is 30 minutes north of Lake Charles.

The rest are an hour north then there's my brother who is hunkered down at the Entergy plant in Westlake. He's a supervisor and had to stay apparently.

Ragley and DeRidder? I'm heading out tomorrow to my dad's house a bit NE or DeRidder. At least he will miss the surge and has a full house natural gas generator (which I do not). Plus lots of freezers so I have a place to take all my meat. (Yea, yea I know lol)

That was the plan. I grew up on that course though, so trees don't scare me.

Surprised at how many are staying in my area -Bluff. Not likely any looting on our road, no plans to hang at road with guns but all have the ability.

Honestly one of my biggest concerns too. Left the alarm armed but that won't matter when the power and internet go.

Also brought a lot of valuables to another family members house that stayed.

I think we're in an area that'll be pretty patrolled during and after.

If you do have to stay a few nights, I just checked my rates through work and it is $130/night at the Ritz.

You can ball on a budget.
