Do the OT weather buffs think we'd be fine driving from Houston to BR tomorrow evening?

Dam even come this way. Head north ASAP. Got family in Houston, they heading north now.

I said we, but really meant just my mother-in-law. She dgaf about the storm, and is coming to BR for a meeting with the person building her house. We tried to tell her to cancel and stay the hell home in Houston (Heights), but of course she knows better.

During Rita my brothers uncle in law welded steel plates around the cab of his bulldozer then shut himself in with a door he made of the same plate. Rode it out that way drinking beer the whole time.

No, but now picture yourself shipwrecked, alone, and hanging on to said buoy in the dark of night as a hurricane approaches.

Rummy’s last thought: Boy, I sure hope this storm causes some rain in Austin.

Hey neighbor. I’m on the east side of 171 also. Keep me posted how you’re doing as much as you can if you don’t mind tomorrow night.
