Honestly one of my biggest concerns too. Left the alarm armed but that won't matter when the power and internet go.
There's an apartment complex a block over that is really bad news. Had a murder a few months ago and a lot of restless kids who I'm sure did not evacuate. They're going to run roughshod over the neighborhood

We're booked through Saturday in a suite but if we have to stay longer I might take you up on it. I want to get home asap so we'll try to leave Friday but after Rita it was two weeks in some areas before they'd let people in.

From what I heard today, they’re not holding anyone back from getting back home ASAP this time around.
I’ll confirm that tomorrow.

Lived in Grand Lake for Rita and Ike. Glad we moved...

I’m also in the bluff. I think most of my neighborhood is staying. Guy across the street works for the sheriff department and is having people stay with him which is comforting.

Good luck, guys.
I hope everything goes smooth for you all.

Stay safe, stout, Prominent.
I was going to stay but after going through 3 of these when I was in Florida and seeing the pictures of Rita, when they made the mandatory call, I hurried and packed up.
Prayers for everyone’s houses and belongings. It’s really stressed me out.

Be safe
For any LC area posters staying or you get reports from those that stayed,
tomorrow night if you can give any updates on here:
Give the update on wind, etc...list your specific location of town or nearest biggest road/intersection area
