Someone needs to write a synopsis of the whole tale. Or is there already one? Shot you could even do a doc or a movie out of it

Hey Duke, have you given any thought to the inland tornado threat from Laura?

Not much other than there will be one.

With the hard right turn, I'm wondering how that severe threat sets up down the line for other states. It seems like what banding is left will take a west to east track.

Good thought.

It'll be something to watch in the right front but as you know, it's hard to really nail down where they'll happen.

OK so my brother is in Moss Bluff .. pharmacist in a hospital in LC and goes on duty tonight (7/7 nights). Here in Vermilion they evacuated the hospital and nursing homes for Rita ... are they going to do that there or shelter in place??

He was like a crazy person after Rita -- it was awful. All started with Memorial employees having to write SS# on themselves.

Thanks for any info -- not going to bother him today.

Are you going to stay and wipe him as well? I thought he was a quadriplegic now?

Sure looks like Laura is moving more NW than WNW on the latest visible satellite loop..Comparing projected coordinates to present coordinates suggest this also

That and Brett Adair and his chasing partner nearly getting swept away by storm surge, and having to break into a house, are top 2 moments from recent years.

No, Marco was far enough ahead of Laura to prevent that, plus Marco has basically dissipated at this point.

Blue shed was a moment I'll never forget. I felt like I was there with Jeff and my stomach was in knots watching everything crumble around him but that damn shed didn't get a scratch.

I was sitting in an airport watching that live and I thought I was witnessing someone getting drug out to sea firsthand. It was wild. I wanted to yell “get outta the truck you dumb motherfricker”.
