That’s a big shift east for UKMET. If the other models shift more east now, watch out.

It's just coming back toward the GFS and recent Euros.

12Z Euro running. Super important run. Almost all the major models moved to SWLA and the Euro jumped to TX at 6Z. Will be very interesting to see if we finally have consensus or if the Euro continues to want to do its own thing.

What site is that satellite image from with the radar overlay? I can’t find it on the NOAA site.

LINK

You have to turn the radar overlay on. You’ll see a little globe icon on the image, that’s where the overlays are.

Thanks. Will definitely come in handy on Wednesday/Thursday. I’m a big weather watcher.

Today would have been a perfect day to hit the spillway and there's probably no one out there. Nice chance to load up on some sacs.

I was supposed to be chasing mud cats at Manchac today

Not so fast. Within 24 hrs we should have clarity on path per Berger. In Berger I trust. There may be a few surprises left once she hits the open gulf warm waters over next 24 hrs.

I feel you. My entire family lives in harms way. Many of them rebuilt after Rita. This sucks. Praying this thing fizzles somehow.

it's not just that, evac doesn't seem like a good option unless we wait until after it hits and go east. going east now would be terrible

this may go west into TX and if that happens we won't be able to get back if we leave

it's 100% going north and Alec/Shreveport may be hit hard with tornado threats

then i have no idea how long until I can get back here. i have court tues, wed, Thurs, and Friday next week. with 2 deadlines on Monday

That's even the face you're making right now about the hurricane.
