Out of curiosity, have you been in an area that took a direct hit? Truly not being ugly -- just curious about people's experiences.

I have with Gustav and I'm never sitting through another major hurricane's path. Don't care what that storm's category was it felt like a cat 5 and it destroyed my neighborhood. I saw tornadoes in my yard.

Marco is definitely weaker this evening. Pressure 1003 mb. Winds 55 mph and that might be aggressive.
