Marco is going to be a little shite storm that doesn’t do anything except get the ground nice and wet for Laura which will be a big bitch of a storm.

My prediction: Laura gets to Cat 2 in the Gulf but weakens to a 1 right before landfall

All the models have Laura strengthening through landfall. Marco is really going to take the brunt of the unfavorable conditions and get the Gulf nice and clear and favorable for Laura.

Yup. They've been trending to higher potential as a major hurricane by landfall. Some are still split on this. It would really depend on where it hits land and how much it can be weakened at that point. Hopefully it does a number on it and the forecasts start backing down because once it passes Cuba it looks like it's a perfect several days of just sucking up PED juice to do whatever the hell it wants.

Laura is a different storm than the one the recon plane left.

This gif might take a minute.

ETA it may never work.

There's nothing to weaken Laura with Marco's path. If anything, Marco makes Laura's path even more favorable which makes it scary to see some of the models pushing for a major hurricane at landfall.

So Marco is expected to make a westerly turn.

Why?

And if it does take a western turn, why is Laura not doing the same thing? They’re going to be 48 hours apart. When Marco turns, that tells me that the ridge is pushing west as well. Why is Laura turning INTO the ridge? Lows dislike Highs, correct?

Texas, Miss, Bama, Florida one of you fools need to take Laura up the pooper. Y'all can handle a hurricane better than we can.

I bookmarked this. I hope your weather forecasting is better than your grammar.

Well looks like my West Texas prediction went out the window....but both systems are still weak and disorganized. Marco is going to hit major shear and tear apart basically. Hell Laura might even track further west than predicted.....

Crazy how things change over 24 hours......Like I said earlier, Sunday night, Monday is when we will all know something definitive, or close to it.

Let’s see how much it changes in the next 24 hrs and revisit this again.

Sorry if the grammar is bad tonight also....
