The amount of equipment we donated in ME free of charge has put us in multi-trillion dollar hole.
Military spending as a % of GDP was lower from 1990 to 2020 than it was from 1960 to 1990. Yet our debt has skyrocketed during that same time of low DoD spending (as a % of GDP).
Something else caused that multi-trillion dollar hole.

I've never seen a Russian nationalist care so much about how US tax money was being spent. It's interesting.
You and the lonely clique can't stop with ad hominem insults. It comes off very insecure and defensive.
What's more puzzling is libs who suddenly cheer for MIC. That's social programming for you.

Well when you are clearly a Russian troll I just rather not argue with because meh it's just more fun to point and laugh at the idiot. Hell maybe you can get some OT, assuming Russian labor laws allow for it for engaging us
ETA I know you'll claim you're not, but I can go back and point out most of the ESL clues in your posts

As for why the US. Well, there are 3 countries with a defense industry large enough to export a massive arsenal: China, Russia, and the US. China doesn’t export, and Russia certainly isn’t going to supply Ukraine now, so….the US becomes the country that is most logical to ask.
Not to mention the fact that the US, UK, and (ironically) Russia gave Ukraine assurances in 1994, in exchange for Ukraine giving up thousands of Soviet nuclear weapons.
All three countries pledged to respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and borders. Russia obviously broke that pledge, going back to 2014. But during those negotiations, the US told Ukraine that we would respond if Russia violated the terms of the agreement. I don’t believe the exact nature of a US response was specified, but it certainly wasn’t a commitment on par with NATO/Article 5. Regardless, that agreement is a huge part of the reason we have been so motivated to provide military assistance to Ukraine since 2014.
Further, Russia’s annexation of Crimea and most recent invasion throw a massive wrench in the gears of anti-proliferation efforts elsewhere. If we don’t hold up our end of the deal either, it’s going to make it very difficult to prevent nuclear proliferation moving forward, at least through diplomacy.
There’s a legitimate discussion to be had around how far the US should go before it’s no longer worth trying to keep that commitment, but I don’t think we’ve reached that point yet.

Each of your posts is just flaming ad-hominem imaginging that everyone who doesn't suck blobalist dick is a Russian bot.
This is how Democrat progfilth debate. They either call you a Nazi, white supremacist, or a Russian bot.
Don't turn yourself into a parody. I'm discussing policy and you're just talking shite and flaming.

There are definitely some clues that have been repeated with enough consistency to indicate that it’s more than just quick typing/lack of proofreading. I’m hesitant to point them out though - no need to train him if it’s true.
Those clues, combined with the fact that he seemingly registered an account strictly to discuss the war in Ukraine, definitely raise some questions. I’m not 100% convinced either way but it’s interesting.

Except you actually are Russian and your very tenuous grasp of the English language has made that evident. SDV clearly has some struggles with comprehension and syntax himself, but I attribute that more to the failure of the public school system.

I am all for US production and innovation of weaponry
The nasty truth to this is that this requires the weaponry to be used on a fairly routine basis.
The alternate reality where the US goes full isolationist after WWII means we’re sitting here today with Generals of zero combat experience and expensive technology that we have zero fricking clue if it works.
We either have to export it or use it on some frequency. So for close combat assets I’d rather export it.

It's not "export" if we're giving it away. It's charity, if you can even call it that.
We could literally host military fundraiser events shooting Javelins at beer cans and it would have equal economic sense as giving it away for free to any random country. In fact, it would be cheaper because we wouldn't have to ship it.

Look flamer, I've yet to see a post from you and another two stooges where you're not flaming and melting down throwing out some half-witted xenophobic insinuations.
Let's stay on topic.

Because there’s no rationalizing with the enemy? You’re treasonous. Get the frick out of my country. Im willing to debate nuances but anyone who is openly supportive of Russia needs to kill themself. As for SDV, go cry to the admins some more pussy.

Right about now, traditional Russian buyers are looking at the Russian Junk smoldering on the streets of Ukraine and making military buying decisions. From that standpoint, it’s totally worth it to give some of this stuff away. The Americans aren’t stupid. We know what we’re doing and it’s always American interests over all else
