What did the United States intelligence say? Whatever they say, the opposite is true.
They took a position without much preliminary investigation that Russia did it. )

Folks who admire Russia and wish to expand its power and influence.
I guess that's an actual word...
There's asiaphiles and americanophiles, lol. Literally never heard or seen that used anywhere. That's some ACLU academia vocabulary right there.
quote:
Russophiles call it a civil war because they refuse to recognize Ukraine’s legitimacy as a nation. Putin asserts that any country with Russian speakers that’s been in the Russian empire is illegitimate.
It would be like Britain reclaiming the US then claiming they were engaging in a civil war.
A Russophile?
quote:
Yeah I know. What difference does it make? Who are they loyal to?
Probably President Yanukovich and his administration they voted for, who was ousted by far-right.
It's basically like if Republicans ousted Brandon and his administration, and libs in Oregon and Cali decided to secede from the union. I think most conservatives would be ok with it, but who knows. Hence the civil war.

  Dude, I'm having a discussion and you spring up some random shite asking me for personal info. I'm a double major in kicking arse and taking names.
Now back to the subject.

So a lot of Russians have been living in Ukraine and fighting a war against Ukraine backed by Russia's military. How, exactly, is that a civil war?
Not the best analogy. There are ethnic Russians living in Ukraine, like historically. Not actually Russian citizens. Though I'm sure some are or have dual citizenship.

So hang on.
One guy has the opposition murdered regularly, and the other guy expelled those loyal to the first guy from government, so they're equally bad guys?
I wouldn't bet they weren't shot like this guy.
They killed one of the peace negotiators, Denis Kireev, because he was pushing for truce, so the far right leadership had him publicly whacked.
Looks like they gave him a beating first, and kneecapped him before shooting him in the head.

He has a funny way of consolidating political power and eliminating opposition by targetting largely inconsequential political parties, who werent even a political threat to begin with, and only doing so after Russia invaded Ukraine. Crazy
Then why bother? Is he afraid they will gain traction if his pro-war regime will eventually become less than popular in Ukraine.
A lot of Ukrainians believe this war could have been avoided. Now look at it.

Meanwhile, Putin poisons and jails Navalny.
I agree, it's terrible, Putin is a dictator and nobody disputes it.
But let's not white knight Zelensky and his regime as some kind of example of democracy. They are equally corrupt, they violate minority rights, and they incorporated neo-Nazis in their active military.

I am absolutely shocked a country being invaded by Russia would ban pro russian political parties. Absolutely shocked
Kinda like Trump was colluding with Russia because the media and Hillary claimed so without any real corroboration(or actually using made up dossier).
So basically far-right Kiev regime can get rid of anyone who he perceives to be "pro-Russian". I wonder how those who don't support Zelensky's regime in Ukraine feel about it? Hmmm.
This is too easy. Next.

Yes, reply with emoji when can't write up any valid rebuttle. And dislike cited information. This is not my opinion- it's an irrefutable fact.
That's Kievindependent.com saying- it's a pro-Ukrainian media. They called him out on it. He's doing exactly what Putin is doing in Russia.

I love bookmarking your idiotic posts. You bring the laughs, Quack.
Weak strawman argument. I don't think he even remotely said anything like that.
Attack being allowed to occur due to "unintentional" oversight on the other hand, not so wild to assume given that Bush admin wanted ME war.

After US and Europe go into full recession, Ukraine will be but an afterthought. Hell, I forgot Ukraine had war in Donbass after 2016.

Okay...
Historically they are known for racking up huge military losses. They certainly are fond of cannon fodder strategy. No debate there.
When I saw those VDV dudes landing in the middle of Ukraine in a Hostomel in a pretty small unit, I couldn't believe who ordered such a bizarre strategy with no infantry support, armor or air superiority. It seemed crazy and a lot of those VDV dudes ended up dead or captured.

You're a sick frick if you side with Putin.
I don't think there are conservatives who "side with Putin". We're just not supporting giving away weaponry and openly supporting the neo-con narrative that US has to engage regional powers anywhere in the world.
That being said, Putin isn't doing anything to undermine our country. Brandon and Co are.

the poli board meme thread is literally the worst and least funny collection of memes in any singular place on the internet
I wouldn't expect leftists to find those memes humorous.
I literally lurked on here since 2018 for the meme thread alone. Also John McCain's death thread memes were off the hook. Savage stuff. Loved it!
I mean, you can at least admit stuff like this is at least witty
